The only definitive reason for why I think people put Sengoku lower is because Garp has all the attention on him, which I don't think should downplay Sengoku at all. Now while yes, it could just be that Sengoku is strong enough to give Roger a good fight, whereas Garp could almost kill Sengoku, I still think that there's been nothing in the series to say that Garp or Sengoku are stronger then one another. Here Roger says to bring Garp OR Sengoku. I understand the thought process, Garp was known as the pirate king's rival in the Marines essentially, Roger said he and Garp almost killed each other multiple times, but why doesn't Sengoku factor into this? We know that Roger, Garp, Whitebeard are near equals, but nobody ever wants to add Sengoku to that group and I'm curious as to why. Why does Sengoku constantly get downplayed? Just a question.
